Jonáš Jánsky is PhD candidate in Comparative History programme at the Central European University in Vienna. His focus is on intellectual history of the East-Central Europe, particularly during the second half of the 20th century. His PhD thesis focuses on the intersection between democratic thinking and sociology in Slovakia during the Velvet Revolution.
